I needed a Jane Austen quote for my Time Travel novel I'm writing... and this one happened to fit perfectly. Now I can't share actual book quotes with ya'll, but I can show you this teaser. ;)
Seldom, very seldom, does complete truth belong to any human disclosure; seldom can it happen that something is not a little disguised, or a little mistaken. ~Jane Austen, Emma.
P.s. None of you happen to be lute players, do you?
Well, I can play a piece for lute, but since lutes aren't around much anymore I played it on a mandolin... lutes aren't very good instruments when it comes to the amount of sound they can put out, with an orchestra now, even a small one you wouldn't be able to hear the lute at all :'( tis sad but true...

My character wouldn't play a lute in an orchestra. She'd play it mostly for herself, or to entertain her family. (Think modern wandering troubadour)
