"Once Upon a Time" features new princesses this year!

The buzz this week (tucked between all the other geek news coming out as SDCC approaches) is all about the casting of two new princesses for ABC's hit show, "Once Upon a Time." Season 2 will air this fall and will introduce us to new takes on two beloved characters:

Jamie Chung will play Mulan
Sarah Bolger will play Sleeping Beauty.

What do you think of this news? The girls are supposed to be recurring characters so we'll probably see them in two or three episodes as we did Cinderella and Belle.

Hi, the link at the bottom of the page goes to the "How to Order" page of the YourLittlePrincess website. I don't think that is what you were trying for given the context ;D. I didn't know about Mulan and Sleeping Beauty, so I am really excited now.

Hmm . . . Mulan is a legendary figure so I guess she could count as fairy tale, but princess?? It seems like the Once Upon a Time people use Disney movies for all their research.

Not surprising, when you consider that ABC (which airs OUT) is owned by Disney. ;)

(Also the majority of the American public are more familiar with Disney than the original fairy tales, so it's a logical marketing move for them.)
